Silencerco Maxim 9 First Look - The world's first mass produced integrally suppressed 9mm pistol at Nexus Shooting, the World's Most Advanced Indoor Shooting Range! This is a 98% finished prototype that we got our hands on and it was extremely impressive. The design is well thought out. It has a modular baffle system so you can adjust the length to your liking and sound reduction needs. In the shorter configuration, it is hearing safe with 147 grain ammo and up. In the longer configuration, it is hearing safe with any bullet weight 9mm. It has a keymod rail system along the bottom, a RMR cut along the top of the slide to mount your favorite red dot optic, and they are even developing their own flashlight to fit on the rail and have the controls within easy reach. It takes a Glock 17 magazine, which means all of your favorite extended 33 round magazines or 50 round drums will work as well. The sound suppression was significantly beyond our expectations!
