Top Myths of Class 3 Items

All in-stock suppressors, short barrel rifles, and short barrel shotguns are on sale!

Here are the top myths about class 3 items clarified:

MYTH: Class 3 items are illegal to own.

FACT: These items are 100% legal for most people to own. Although there is some additional paperwork, if you can own a regular firearm, you most likely are qualified to own a Class 3 item as well. The minimum age is 21 years old.

MYTH: You have to wait over a year to be approved.

FACT: Previously, the ATF approval process of class 3 items has extended beyond a year. However, things have significantly sped up and approvals have been reported to be in the range of 4-6 months with some coming back as quickly as 3 months! **

MYTH: You need a legal trust, license, or corporation to own a class 3 item.

FACT: Class 3 items can be registered to you, as an individual. No license, trust, or corporation is needed. You don't even need a concealed weapons permit.

MYTH: The government makes it impossible to get a class 3 item with tons of complicated paperwork and expenses.

FACT: Yes, the process is more onerous than buying a regular firearm, but it is not impossible. There are a couple of additional forms to fill out (which we do for you!), fingerprinting (which we do for you in store!), and passport photos (yup, we do that too!).* We walk you through the whole process and make it as painless as possible.

So, come on in and see how easy it is for you to own one of these great additions to your collection during our Class 3 Sale! ONE WEEK ONLY! Ends 12/8/19.

No additional discount or promotion applies. Limited to stock on hand, no rainchecks. Not responsible for typographical errors. Sale prices good 12/3/19 through 12/8/19.* Fingerprinting and passport photo service in store are available for an additional fee. ** Recent reports of average Form 4 approval times filed as an individual rather than with a trust. There is no guaranteed time frame for approval and is dependent on ATF form volume and staffing at the ATF.
